My work is devoted to sharing the living spirit of 19th-century classical methods, not as museum pieces, but as tools that can breathe new depth into the way we see, think, and create. These traditions are, to me, a language of form and light. A way of slowing down and really listening to what we observe.

I offer one-on-one and small group lessons that are always personal, always shaped around the student in front of me. My goal isn’t to impose taste or style, but to place a set of tools in your hands. Tools that can serve whatever vision you carry with you. I  imagine myself more as a guide, someone who can offer the eye, the discipline, and the quiet thinking that strengthen expressive work.

Whether it’s landscape, still life, or portrait, we begin with the heartbeat of it all: careful observational drawing. From there, instruction can unfold in watercolor, oil, or dry media, depending on where your curiosity leads.

No two students are ever alike, and neither are their paths. Some come as beginners, some as lifelong painters wanting to refine their craft, the only thing I ask of any student is a genuine desire to learn. From that place, the work can grow.
